Fundamentals of Kubernetes

In this course you'll learn the fundamentals of Kubernetes. Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

Kubernetes provides the ability to run dynamically scaling, containerized applications, and utilizing an API for management. It offers the ability to  schedule and manage containers at scale.

This course will get you up and running with Kubernetes. We'll cover the basics of what containerization is and how Kubernetes fits in. You'll learn how to set up a Kubernetes environment up  on Mac or Windows, and understand the  components for Kubernetes.

You will also learn how to deploy a sample Kubernetes application, and manage it using the Kubernetes dashboard. We'll also show how to deploy a more complicated application with a  database and APIs.

We'll also get into more advanced topics on Kubernetes, including production deployments, namespaces, monitoring and logging, and authentication and  authorization.

This course will give you a strong operating knowledge of Kubernetes, including how to deploy a containerized application and manipulating resources.
