Description:

SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is the programming language used for the development of applications that run on the SAP Application Server, which is the foundation of the SAP NetWeaver platform. ABAP is a proprietary programming language developed by SAP, and is used to create custom solutions for the SAP ERP system, including business intelligence and reporting, data management, and enterprise application integration.

ABAP is a high-level programming language, similar in syntax to COBOL and other older programming languages.
